Out and about....David and Sarah

From Fashionistable
I have had the good fortune to have photographed David quite a few times now and he is wonderfully calm and gracious in the middle of the flurry of photography activity his arrival always brings. Before the Margaret Howell show during the recent London Collections Men I had mentioned to him that I had photographed his beautiful girlfriend Sarah at the opening of the Somerset Skating season for Vogue. We talked briefly about having careers that had them regularly on opposite sides of the world. So it was a real treat to see them together.
David is seen here in a Spencer Hart suit, Thom Sweeney tie and Russell and Bromley shoes. Sarah is wearing a J.W.Anderson top and trousers and Burberry shoes.
Look out for David's first Blue Steel Appeal charity event for Red Nose Day event which will take place on March 7, with an eBay auction of a selection of money-can’t-buy fashion items.

Out and about....the Boys part 1 a splash of orange

From Fashionistable
I am going to make the boys a regular feature for a while. Orange was a colour I saw a lot of on them during the fashion weeks. This 1st shot is of Funfere Koroye. He is a footwear designer the boots he is wearing are not his own but are by Sergio Tacchini. His hat is Carhartt, sweater and jeans are Topshop and shirt Zara.

Chris Cowan is fashion student at St Martins. He is wearing a Cos scarf, vintage jacket, S.Bling jumper, H&M jeans, Russell and Bromley shoes and is carrying a case that belonged to his grandfather. He told me his style influence is preppy.

From Fashionistable
Our lovely big smile is from Cornelius Danzey. He works as part of the creative team of Topshop New York. What you can see him wearing is an H&M hat and a Topshop raincoat and sweater. His style influences are Louboutin and McQueen. His tattoo reads Fashion fades. Style is eternal.

Niels Oostenbrink  from Lifestyle Hunters, told me that his look for today was influenced by the colour orange and the Zara fur "I like to pop with the colours". He usually co-ordinates with his partner Linda Tol. Today was no exception but I will so you all that shot another day. His coat is also Zara, belt Primark, bag Wig 51 and shoes Bellerose.

Out and about....Kings Road

From Fashionistable
Home for the holidays it was wonderful. We had a great time. Of course I couldn't miss the opportunity to take the camera out for a spin.  Dasha is Russian and is studying fashion styling  at an Italian college in the UK called Marangoni. She told me she bases her style on different characters everyday, that she likes to play different roles. Her favourite place, "Chelsea, East London, actually all of London, it is all different". Dasha's surprise is that she used to be a rock chick but is now girly feminine. She couldn't remember where her beret was from, she had the coat specially tailored for her, dress is Zara, boots Russell Bromley, Chanel bag and glasses where bought in Manhattan.

Out and about....unplug the jukebox

From Fashionistable
Marta is a fashion designer and is getting ready for her show in March. I am guessing it will be in Europe as I forgot to ask her. She is also working on her website and when it is ready you will be able to see her work here. To make it all possible she is also working part-time at Issey Miyake. Busy lady. Her own design influence mainly stems from music. It creates a mood and allows her to see colour and shape. The people who influence her most are Adam Ant (whom she says she knows), Madonna and John Galliano. Marta is half Russian and half Lithuanian, but has been in London now for 3 years. Her favourite place in London is the V&A. Her coat is by Trussardi (I think). What looks like is a scarf is actually a Issey Miyake cardy. She couldn't remember where her tights were from. Accessory wise her earrings are Dior, shoes are Russell and Bromley and her bag is Italian.

Out and about...middle of the road

From Fashionistable
Some things just fall into place nicely for you. I was walking along the Strand and was thinking I would love to photograph someone on the long island that runs down the middle of it and then I spotted Kerry. Her coat is brilliant. Well actually it is 2 coats. The outer one has no sleeves, the inner is a blazer. Both are from Topshop. When I asked her what her style influence was she told me usually just what she see's and likes. However her sister is a stylist in LA and when she comes home they go shopping. She said that if she didn't go shopping with her sis, then everything she wore would end up being black. Kerry is the editor for BA's Highlife mag and has worked on the mag for the last 4 years. Prior to that she worked for the Independent, the Standard and Glamour. Pretty cool eh. The rest of her look is comprised of Jaeger top, I forgot to ask about her jeans. Brilliant bag from Ferragamo and Russell and Bromley boots.
