I want to go shopping with Andreea from Dreaming of Chanel. Can you believe that everything she is wearing is high street. I was bowled over when she told me what she was wearing. It is so beautifully put together. Here goes, coat Zara, skirt Forever 21, jewellery New Look, watch River Island, shoes and bag Primark, belt Topshop and earrings Chanel. When asked for a surprise she told me she just loves life. Me too.

The beautiful Russians, they all turned up together for the Valentino show. What an impression they made as they walked through the Jardin des Tuileries.

Meet my new assistant - Anna has a new assistant. What do you think? I think she looks like a younger version of herself.

From Fashionistable
Anna Dello Russo resplendent in Chanel also wearing 2 of her own bracelets designed for her colabaration with H&M. For Anna this season was all about short dresses, well every time I saw her anyway.

After Valentino - I don't know who these guys are (I should have asked them). She looks magnificent.

After Giambattista Valli - in this instance I did ask her name but she didn't want to tell.

Out and about....Lifestyle Hunters

From Fashionistable
Linda and Niels of Lifestyle Hunters are great and really stand out in the crowd. The way they co-ordinate is wonderful. I first shot them here and always enjoy bumping into them. There is a lovely anticipation each day to see what their vision for the day is going to be. Today as you can see Linda has matched her tights with Niels coat and dress with his bowtie. Subtle and beautifully done.
Linda is wearing a Denis Deiem dress and Gucci shoes and is carrying a Chanel bag. Niels is wearing a custom made Blue Blood jean suit, a coat of his own design and Santoni shoes.

Out and about....Bond Street

From Fashionistable
Pelayo graduated from St Martins earlier this year after studying Fashion Design and Marketing. Whilst at Uni he interned for McQueen and Giles. He is now living back in Spain. Originally from Oviedo he is now in Madrid and working for Davidelfin (check out the link his work is amazing his new collection for Spring/Summer has me dreaming if warmer climes). Pelayo is also the author of the blog Kate Loves Me. He and Davidelfin were in London for a few days over the holidays. Pelayo's style influences are Art, the Movies and James Dean. When I asked what his surprise was he couldn't think of anything but his friends said he has amazing handwriting and is a good painter. His favourite place in London is Columbia Road and his favourite building is a yellow tower next to the Tate. He said he has always wanted to live there. Talking of yellow it was this amazing yellow sweater that caught my eye. The sweater, belt and trousers are all by Davidelfin. His wrist cuff is Hermes, boots are DM's and bag is Chanel.

Out and about....Kings Road

From Fashionistable
Home for the holidays it was wonderful. We had a great time. Of course I couldn't miss the opportunity to take the camera out for a spin.  Dasha is Russian and is studying fashion styling  at an Italian college in the UK called Marangoni. She told me she bases her style on different characters everyday, that she likes to play different roles. Her favourite place, "Chelsea, East London, actually all of London, it is all different". Dasha's surprise is that she used to be a rock chick but is now girly feminine. She couldn't remember where her beret was from, she had the coat specially tailored for her, dress is Zara, boots Russell Bromley, Chanel bag and glasses where bought in Manhattan.

Here is my second colour in the Filofax challenge, and my choice of The Chameleon range. I have wanted to photograph Stella for a while now as love her look. However as I have never bumped into her on the street this was the perfect opportunity to ask if I could take her picture. Of course I was very happy she was around and free to take the challenge with me, in the time frame I had to turn the images around. Stella also has a blog - Stella's Wardrobe and a great wardrobe it is. Pop along to see her other wonderful outfits. Stella's favourite places in London are "Topshop Oxford Circus, is my favorite shop, Spuntino my favorite place to eat, Soho my favorite area of London and Liberty my favorite department store." She say's "I don't really have a style influence, I just wear what I think will make a good outfit. I admire Daphne Guinness and the way she wears Haute Couture and look at magazines like Elle and Love to get an idea of the newest trends" Her surprise for us is that she studies History at UCL. Now that got me, I was sure she was going to tell me she was studying art of some form. She also told me that she lived in Germany until she was 12. Everything she is wearing here is from Topshop except for her bag which is vintage Chanel. She got her trousers in the sale for £7 what a bargain.

Out and about....fashion forward

From Fashionistable
Christina wants to be a Fashion designer. She is from Shanghai and at the moment is studying for A'level's in York. Her aim is St Martins next year. It is good to aim high. Christina had never studied art before coming to the UK and she thought she couldn't draw but her surprise to herself is that actually she can. Her style influence is her own style, its more about showing her personality. Using it to say something about herself. Her cute coat is from Prada. The boots are from LK Bennett, bag is Versace and she had just been shopping in Chanel.

Out and about....a woman of substance

From Fashionistable
I spotted Ana as she disappeared around a corner in front of me. Luckily for a change I was in flats so could move quickly. It was her wonderful coat the the flash of red sole that caught my eyes and pulled me after her. Ana is originally from Brazil and is the Executive Director of her own company Showroom One London which represents accessory brands. For her own style she told me she lives in heels and usually dresses. When she wears trousers like today it is for comfort only. When I asked her to tell me something surprising she said 'I am 40, have been married 4 times, have 2 businesses and 2 grown up children in their 20's'. Yep that was quite a lot of surprises. Ana is wearing a coat from Jaeger, belted with a vintage belt she has had for 20years. Her shoes are of course Louboutin hence the red flash I spotted....her bag is Chanel, I forgot to ask about her trousers. She picked up her cool bangle from an accessory retailer in Poland St 2 weeks ago for a fiver.

Out and about....busy, busy, busy

From Fashionistable
Sonia kindly gave me a few moments as she was very busy. Her phone kept ringing while we shot. Originally from Shanghai Sonia is setting up and managing an online fashion store. She was not ready enough to tell me the name yet. Her style influences are the high street and London in general. To surprise us she told me she loves hot spicy food. Her grey top is from All Saints, the shorts and top below the grey one are both from Topshop. The tights are from Harrods and had a lovely bow on the back, my back shot of her was not as good as this one so you just have to believe me. Her shoes and necklace are Chanel and her clutch is YSL.

LFW September 2010 - Imogen Roy

From Fashionistable
This is Imogen from eightlondon who is also a blogger. I managed to find out a bit about what she was wearing on the last day of the women's wear shows this year. Her coat is a Stella McCartney, dress is by Lisa Perry, shoes are Steve and Adam (cant find the ink), finally her bag is from Chanel. She sites her style influences as Asia, recently the exhibition on Belarus at the V&A, art books, street style and couture. We both agreed it would be wonderful to go to a couture show. Surprisingly she told me she is fluent in French and German. I really wish I could speak more than just English.

Out and about....in town with the girls

From Fashionistable
When I met Victoria she was in town shopping with 2 of her friends. For me she just stood out.

Now I feel I need to tell you a bit about how I work here. When I am out and about I would say I tend to approach more people who are on their own. It is easier to strike up a conversation that way. If they are on their phone I will usually let them go as I don't like to interrupt - however there are exceptions to this rule. If they are not moving too fast I will follow. If they are walking up and down in the same area I will wait.

However if they stand out from the people around them I will home in on the person I want to photograph. When I do this though I am very aware of the others I have not asked. And always thank them at the end for their patience while I have photographed their friend, girlfriend or boyfriend. On this day I felt even more awkward though. As Victoria's friends stood behind me I could hear them say "what's wrong with us? We made and effort too." Then when I was interviewing Victoria some more friends arrived and her friends said the same to them and they joined in with "how embarrassing". By the time I walked away I felt really bad. So ladies in reply, there was nothing wrong with you at all it's just that for me there was so much right about Victoria and I am sorry if I offended you in any way.

Victoria is from Reading and was in town for the Gina sale - shoe shopping. Wonderful. Style wise she goes for whatever feels comfortable and whatever her husband likes too.
Here she is wearing a top and shorts from French Connection, shoes from LK Bennett and is carrying a Chanel bag.
