Out and about....to illustrate the point

From Fashionistable
Ade is in her 1st year at St Martins. She is studying illustration and is really excited to be studying there. Her surprising thing was connected with college. We met near Brick Lane where she was looking for props for a project she had been set to do. Which is a painting of herself as her hero, who is Mark Ryden (if you have a look at his paintings, then go to The Gay 90's show you will see were Lady Gaga's designer got the idea for the meat dress). So she was looking for a bow tie, glasses and dolls you can see why the bow tie and glasses here. You can see why the dolls from his illustrations. Her style guide usually follows a strict no pattern policy. The pattern we are seeing today is the only pattern she owns. Her coat is from a friend from OZ, her scarf is also a present. Her top is by Olga de Polga, dress by Warehouse, tights M&S, DMs on her feet and her bag is from Egg 3 but I can't find a link for them for you.

Out and about....pastels and flowers

From Fashionistable
Katherine is a digital producer and painter. Two completely different media for her. I am sure it keeps her on her toes. She is obviously a lovely mix of thoroughly modern and traditional, as she paints in oils. Katherine is originally from Yorkshire and it still remains her favourite place in the world. At the moment she is all loved up as she just got married in June. And of course she went back to Yorkshire to tie the knot.  She loves gardening and at the moment her favourite flower is a new orange rudbeckia. Katherine is wearing a jacket from Topshop, dress from Warehouse, shoes from Dune, earrings from Accessorize and sunglasses from Ralph Lauren. She then smiled and said 'but I do have expensive Rigby and Peller underwear on'.

Out and about...matchmaker

From Fashionistable
From Fashionistable
When I met Marites she was waiting for her date to turn up. It was a 1st date so she was a bit nervous but happy. However it was not the 1st time they had met. During our conversation I asked her to tell me something surprising about herself and she told me she worked for a personal introductory company called Elect Club as a matchmaker. She had met her date for the evening at one of her own events and they just clicked. Sweet. Style wise Marites told me she has no specific style influence. She mainly likes to be comfortable. Mini skirts and shorts are not for her. Otherwise she is a horder and keeps everything.
For her date Marites is wearing a waistcoat by the jeans company. An all in one from TFNC Topshop, belt from Warehouse. ANd for the second day in a row shoes from Matalan. Accessories, her bag is vintage. The gold jewellery is from Accessorize and Warehouse. Her coloured jewellery is from a stall in Covent Garden. Hope the date went well Marites.
