Out and about...Joan's rising star

The first time I photographed Joan was in September 2011 and there was only her and I. How things have changed, this time I could hardly get near her. Well done Joan.
The rest of my images from Couture can be seen on Vogue here.

Out and about....seeing black and red

From Fashionistable
I know that black and white is one of the themes of the up coming season on the high street. I was seeing that in September and October on the street during the shows. It has shifted slightly for me and now I am seeing black and red. For me this colour combination packs more punch. And the lovely Sandra Hagelstam from 5 inch and Up demonstrates that well here, in her J.W.Anderson jumper, Muubaa coat, Gina Tricot jeans and Alexander Wang boots.

Out and about....Red

I love red hair and Marianne's is great. Having said that she has just gone a beautiful blue... you can check out her new colour on her site Style Devil. In the 1st picture she is wearing a jacket by Castle Byach, Mardou and Dean trousers, Costume National shoes, a Cubus scarf and is carrying a Alexander Wang bag. I dont know what she is wearing in the second shot (except for the bag of course) but was loving her fun look.

Out and about....one to watch

From Fashionistable
Tru is Korean and has been living in London for a year already and is now getting ready to start her 1st year at St Martins studying fashion. Her own personal style is a mix of anything she wants, from vintage to Alexander Wang. It all depends on the day. Today she is wearing an Alexander Wang cardy. Vintage top and shorts, shoes by Carvela and is carrying a Mulberry bag. She loves to travel and is accepting of lots of different life styles. She also loves people watching in different countries. For her own designs she uses her people watching as inspiration. Recently she has been using the London Underground as her source of inspiration. She told me she has been looking at how isolated and empty people seem when they are traveling on the tube. Everyone keeps to themselves or plugs themselves in (ipods etc) to escape.

I have made it through to the Vogue Photo blog shortlist. There are still 97 other hopefuls. I would love it if you would leave a comment for me here.
