Out and about....setting sun

My favourite time of the day especially on holiday is sunset, the light is just wonderful. As the sun set on my holiday my final sunshine girl is Laura. Originally from the Netherlands Laura has been living in the sun for the past 3 years. She is both an artist and a model. If you have a mo check out the link to her work she is good. "The most lovely thing for me is freedom" was Masha's reply to my surprise question. My guess was she was on holiday like myself as she told me she was Ukrainian but that is my guess. It might have been where she originated from. Her blue top was a present from a boyfriend, the black top from Stradaivarius, Zara shoes and an Accessorize bag.

Although Liron works in insurance sales she loves fashion. Her surprise was that she likes to take something old and make something new from it.

Vera said yes to having her picture taken but asked me to be quick as she was heading to the airport to go to London. She is going to spend 3 months here to work. She is a fashion designer. She will be here for London Fashion Week, I hope she gets to see it and enjoy the vibe around it. I am sure it will be inspirational for her.She is wearing Prada glasses, Ivanna Helsinki dress, Gucci scarf, Osnat necklace, Zara shoes and is carrying a Michael Kors bag.

Rimon like myself was also on holiday, it was a tale of 2 cities, hers was New York, mine as you know is London. Rimon's favourite place in New York is Barneys. Her surprise was that her name means pomegranate. She works as an assistant for Club Monaco. Rimon is wearing an All Saints dress teamed with a Proenza Schouler bag and Pierre Hardy shoes.

 Kayoko is a ballet dancer. Her surprise for us is that she is half Japanese, I guess she is giving us a hint with the choice of city name on her top. She is wearing a top and bag from Zara, skirt from Pull and Bear with All Saints shoes.

I love the summer, the warmth, the sum but I must admit I find it easier to dress for slightly cooler climes. I know Eli-ya is simply dressed in these images but to me she looks effortlessly chic. I would love to look so good in shorts and a t-shirt.
Eli-ya is a business student, but her surprise is that she is also a Yoga teacher. For the shot we are in her favourite place in Tel Aviv, the Port. Is is a lively bustling place and great to watch the sun go down. Eli-ya is wearing a top from Inn7, Zara shorts and shoes and is carrying a Country Road bag.

I am still on holiday and have another week to go. Lucky for me I know. I bought a new camera before I came away and you know the old adage be careful what you wish for. Don't get me wrong it is lovely but it is so complicated my mind is exploding trying to understand it so it work best for me. I would love someone with knowledge to explain it to me. I am searching. The camera is the new Canon1DX if anyone knows a Canon genius.

For now this is my 1st image for you with the new camera. I had just sat down with the family for dinner when these 4 lovely ladies walked past. Luckily I was sitting on the outside seat. Well actually I usually am so I can get up quickly if I need too.
All the girls are from the Soviet Union but have lived on the Med for the past 6 years. From left to right ILolantha Shawartz is an Interior Designer, Ekaterina Bondar is a Biologist, Victoria Stern works in Advertising Management for a magazine and Elena Ralph is a Jewelery Designer.

Melissa lives in Tel Aviv but is originally from New Mexico. She has been in Israel for almost a year and moved there as she just wanted to live abroad for a while. And surprisingly she has been in 5 different countries in the past 2 months. She told me her style influence was her mum who taught her to stick to basic classic outfits. Her favourite place in Tel Aviv is Mezazim Beach which is near the port and the best trip she has been on was to Petra in Jordan. Well worth it she said. Her glasses are Ray Ban, bag is the Louis Vuitton never full bag, top by Nation, skirt H&M shoes Havaianas.

Shay is a dancer with the Inbal Pinto and Avshalom Pollak dance company. She told me she has a Mexican boyfriend who surprises her every day. Almost everything Shay is wearing is vintage, except for her shoes which she bought in China and her scarf which is her mum's. Her bike is by Dahon.

Yanna is from Israel and is studying for her pre Uni exams right now. At Uni she will study Economics. In Israel everyone does their national service first and then go to Uni. When Yanna finished the army she lived in London for a while and sold jewelery in Camden Market. Her top is from Castro, shorts are Billabong, shoes Marco, glasses Ray Ban and she bought her leggings at a market.

Ariele was having a few days vacation from national service when we met. She has another year had a half to do, she says she has a good job so is enjoying it. When she finishes she wants to see the world. At the moment Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South America are on her list. Her favourite place in Israel is central Tel Aviv where she lives. Her surprise for us was that she rides horses. Wonder were they are in the city? Her dress is H&M, glasses are Ray Ban, she has Havaianas on her feet and bought her bag at a flea market.

I met Esty at the artisan market on Nachalat Binyamin St in Tel Aviv. It is one of my favourite places in there and is on twice a week, Tuesday and Friday. Esty is studying Philosophy at the Open University. Her favourite places in Tel Aviv are the market and the beach. Surprisingly she is Russian originally from the Ukraine and moved to Israel when she was 6. Her glasses are Ray Ban, top H&M, bag Mango, shoes Nine West. She bought her shorts in Panama and the scarf tied to her bag was a gift.
