Out and about....to make a fairy tale come true

....you need a great team around you. And Ulyana certainly has achieved this. Model, Photographer, Street Style star and most of all a wonderful Couture Fashion Designer. When I first photographed Ulyana she was on her own. Then two seasons later Frol was there. Frol is her business partner. Ulyana has always been very calm and centered and is in great demand. So instead of distracting her when she is being so giving with her time I turn to Frol for answers on what she is wearing. But, you know, Frol has the same lovely characteristics and as you can see the camera loves them both.

Out and about....queen of diamonds

Of all the crop tops and bare midriffs I have seen since this trend raised its head again, I would have to say that this so far is my favourite. Elegant yet daring. The lovely Miroslava.

Out and about....Ulyana's fairytale

As you all know I will go into see the shows when I can. I do love the theater of them. When Ulyana and Frol invited me personally after photographing Ulyana the day before well there could only be one answer. Ulyana is a streetstyle favourite. She has such personal grace, poise and beauty. And on top of it all is superbly creative too. Her show took its inspiration from fairytales and the joy of waking. Out and about...Joan's rising star

The first time I photographed Joan was in September 2011 and there was only her and I. How things have changed, this time I could hardly get near her. Well done Joan.

Sometimes I wish there were two days in one or I could clone myself so I could bring you images sooner, especially during shows. These are some of the images I shot for Vogue in Paris over the last few days, with more to follow. It was a wonderful change from shivering in the snow that came with the January shows. Lots of light and warmth makes life a lot easier. However both are fun to be at.

Out and about....Belmodo Tiany

Although I have been shooting street style during the fashion weeks for years now it is always refreshing to meet new people. I don't know how long Tiany has been on the fashion week circuit but the first time I met her was during Couture in Paris in January this year then again in London. She has a pretty impressive site called Belmodo and blog called The Kirilove Blog. And on each occasion I have met her so far she has looked good and has been very lovely personally too. Tiany was a model and TV presenter before turning her hand to working as a fashion and beauty editor and blog owner.

Soraya lives in the UK and is a blogger and works in PR. Her surprise for us was that she grew up in Switzerland but is half Egyptian and half Iranian. Full skirts are great aren't they. I love the way they move. This one is actually part of a dress by Alice and Oliva. Soraya is also wearing a H&M jumper Laurence Dacade boots and is carrying a Celine bag.

Now long now until all the fashion weeks kick off again. I am looking forward to someday soon going to New York for theirs. Until then I have Europe. This shot of the lovely Janice Alida wearing Proenza Schouler was taken in Paris when there were still leaves on the trees.

The first shot of Elena was taken just before the Jean Paul Gaultier show. The second while we were waiting for the show to start. The only rest our street style stars actually get is when the shows are on and of course when they are in their cars between the shows. But Elena and Miroslava from yesterday are brilliant, playful and give us lots of time to get our shots. In these shots she is wearing a Louis Vuitton hat, Tommy Hilfiger jumper and Balenciaga  (I want these) shoes.

This is what it looks like when everyone is shooting and our subject is on the move. we are all on the street with the traffic. Then suddenly your subject finds herself in the middle of the road on her own - or maybe that is a trick of the lens ;-) In these shots Miroslava is wearing Louis Vuitton.

Out and about....my view - Iris Van Herpen

It was a very sumptuious room that Iris showed her collection in. A theater in the round with the models spent a long time in the room as the theater unfolded. Before the show started and then when all the models were in their places a statue in the middle of the room came to life emitting currents of electricity like small bolts of lighting into the room.
