Out and about....sun stripes

During the fashion weeks when familiar faces are not around you wonder why. This was the case with Camille. Now I could see on Instagram that she was in NYC but I just wasn't seeing her. We eventually met up on my last day there. She had been ill poor thing and this was her first venture out. The stresses of huge personal upheaval had taken their toll and sometimes even if it is fashion week you just have to stop. It was great to see her looking so good. I called this post sun stripes because the reflection in her glasses almost looks like the Japanese flag. Camille is a social media/fashion journalist at Matches and blogger. She is wearing a Sportmax jacket, Acne t-shirt, Joseph trousers, with Celine shoes and bag.

Out and about....breakfast with Joseph Fashion

From Fashionistable
Yesterday morning I was invited along to the launch of the very first Joseph Bag Collection.
It is available exclusively at Selfridges (for now) if you want to go check it out. The instagram image I took is of the bag I liked the most, great for the summer. I also got to meet the team who were lovely and welcoming and had a yummy breakfast waiting. My first image is of Louise Trotter Creative Director and Imogen Crosby Head of Press at Joseph. Louise is wearing a Celine jacket and Joseph t-shirt, tuxedo trousers and heels. Imogen is wearing a vintage Joseph coat, this season's t-shirt and next seasons leather trousers with New Balance trainers.

Out and about....early appointment

From Fashionistable
Carrie was in a rush to an important appointment when we met - hope it went well for her. It was good of her to stop for me at all. She is is originally from Tipperary. Her surprise was how calm she was feeling even though I was holding her up. For her appointment she was wearing Gucci shoes, mac from Joseph, a Fendi dress and her bag is by Jacqui (I think).

Out and about....foxy

From Fashionistable
Teresa is an American and loves living in London. She comes from NYC and believes the fashion sensibility in London is absolutely GREAT — fresh, inspired, eclectic, DIY — and prefers it to NYC where she says even the street style seems less imaginative. Teresa wears heels at work “so people think I’m tall and powerful” and these are Kate Spade sling-backs that you can dress-up or down. “My color palette starts with my hair which went gray when I was 18 and seems to be the only thing people ever notice about me. My color palette is dictated by the hair. Poison green, black, white, gray, and anything blue work well -- but taupe and brown and beige simply drain the LIFE out of me.” Today Teresa is wearing a simple black tee and sweater from Joseph with Banana Republic shorts. Although you cannot see them, she told me she is addicted to Bodas string bikinis and bras — and likes them best when they’re "matchy-matchy".

Out and about...untold

From Fashionistable
Ola is originally from Nigeria. He is the designer liaison and logistics coordinator at Un-Told. Untold is a collaboration of newly emerging designers and artists. Have a look at what they do.
For himself he likes to keep his style functional. He said that for men there is nothing new under the sun, just the order and colour changes. His favourite designers are Helmut Lang and Comme des Garcons. When I met him he was wearing his vintage Helmut Lang jacket. The broach on his jacket is by Ituen Basi a designer from Lagos. His bretton stripe top was either from Muji or Uniqlo, he couldn't remember. Obviously his bag is by Margaret Howell.  His trousers are from Joseph and finally the shoes are Office.
