I have to say I have been finding it hard to motivate myself in this flat light we have been having and the cold, cold, cold. It is so cold my camera keeps stopping and I have to take the battery out and warm it up under my arm before even it
wants to play again. This has never happened before. It makes me respect my fellow photographers who work in even colder climes. My hat is well and truly off to you. Respect. Mind you it is all worth while as the people I meet are just so brilliant and giving. It is always so good to hear peoples stories. I never know just who I have stopped. Today it turned out that Cleo is the editor of Recognise magazine.
Take a look, looks pretty cool to me. However it is not the only string to her bow as she also works for the boxer David Haye.
When I asked her what her style influence was she told me Morticia from the Adams Family - she loves to wear black. Here she is wearing a scarf from Portobello Market. The leather jacket belongs to a friend. The black bobbly cardy over the top of the leather is from Topshop
. Her bag is from H&M
, the dress is an eBay
purchase and her shoes are from ASOS
Oh -- I can relate to that love of black clothing. And I can relate to you about feeling uninspired by the flat light. I feel the same way. Winter kills my desire to go out and take photos. Soon, I will be photographing my apartment because I am lately so in love with staying inside it.
Dear Dvora, I've been wanting to hibernate for the last two weeks so I totally empathise. It's definitely lack of light. I bought a tree today so hopefully that will perk things up.
I love the Top Shop bobbly cardigan and the mix of textures Cleo's wearing xx
don't get me started on the crappy weather that we've been blessed with this year. i seem to have the same problem too when i'm out and about shooting with my camera jamming and not having any of it...ha ha.
as for today's subject, she sure has got bucket loads of style and that attitude adds to the edge of working for a boxer...
I like her layering outfit with this chunky knit cardigan on top of her leather jacket. nice w-end, FashionLifeCoach
Love your outfit! The mix and match of furs esp that bag I so want. Great styling :)
I really have to check out Morticia because Chloe looks way good! It's hard in the cold, isn't it? Snow tomorrow might be inspiring... xxx
Ha ha, you're right. The light really sucks in the winter. I'm getting way more sucky images these winterdays, hi hi. But I'm not complaining about the weather, because I do enjoy the wintery wonderlands. You're photographs are still rockin', even with the flat light. xo
Ooh, I love your shoes!
