Out and about....let it rain, let it rain, let it rain

From Fashionistable
With Britain facing a hosepipe ban we could use a few more days like the one I took Olivia's picture on. How do other countries who have a lot less rain than we do cope I ask myself.... Olivia says that her usual style influence is military uniforms but today is Rock Chick. Her style icons are Daphne Guinness and Kate Moss. Here she is wearing a hat she found, a Topshop shirt, Hogan jacket, Zara trousers, Kurt Geiger shoes and vintage glasses.

Out and about....purple reign

From Fashionistable

It is nice to do a regular post again. Ella was shopping with her Mum when we met. Her Mum looks wonderful too so I am hoping we can meet up again so I can photograph and post about her as well. Ella is sitting her GCSE's at the moment. Hope they are going well for her. Her favourite subjects are art and sport. She likes to design clothes, so her sights are set on the London College of Fashion after A'Levels. Her surprises were that she rides horses, plays the harp and (for me unsurprisingly) was a child model. For our shot she is wearing glasses from Claire's, the scarf was a Christmas present. Her jacket is from Jack Wills, shoes are Kurt Geiger, the sweater is her Mum's, leggings are New Look and her bag is from Paul's Boutique.

Out and about....beautiful smile

Rachel has a beautiful smile and laugh. I am going to start with her surprising things, Rachel was Miss Great Britian in 2007. Before she won the competition she was working on an oil rig. Originally from Scotland Rachel now lives in North London and is modeling with BMA. Her favourite places in London are Hampstead Heath and Hyde Park in summer. I love this look and was amazed when she told me how she put it together, here we go. Glasses are Ray Ban, cape Zara, vintage playsuit, Topshop belt, KG shoes and Chloe bag. I also thought her accessories helped set the whole look off - 2 necklaces, the longer one is a key and belonged to her grandma, the second was a cameo from Accessorize. Her other cameo, the brooch, used to belong to her boyfriends grandma. Altogether a  great combination.

Out and about....angel face

From Fashionistable
Amber has just finished her degree in anthropology at the London school of Economics and is now heading off traveling for the next year. Amber is not very tall and she was joking that her rucksack is almost the same height as her. Her travels are going to take her to SE Asia, India, Australia and Africa. When I asked about style influence Amber said "Well you can't tell by what I am wearing today but I love vintage fashion and it's what I usually wear. Oh and floral prints too." She has a lovely tattoo on her back I was trying to show you, you can just see the ink, but hey her face was even prettier so something had to give. As you know one of my questions is tell me something surprising about yourself. Today I had the most surprising answer Amber smiled and said "The one thing that usually surprises people about me is that my dad is mixed race and my grandad is black." She definitely got me there. Bet I am not the only one. Are there any questions you guys would like me to put to the people I meet?
Amber's dress is from Oasis, you can't see her shoe's in this shot but they were Kurt Geiger and her purse she bought in Denmark.

Out and about....celtic connection

From Fashionistable
Sally is from Aberdeenshire and Simon is from Cork (and amazingly my second Simon Allen in a week - check out last Tuesday - Allen spelt ever so slightly differently). They have been friends for quite some time. Sally is a visual merchandising assistant for Pringle of Scotland. She mentioned the recent campaign they had done with Tilda Swinton (Tilda  let me photograph her once many moons ago - before my street style days). Sally gets her style inspiration from following daily Style by Kling and The Sartorialist. For this shot she is wearing a T and trousers by Zara. Her shoes are Kurt Geiger. Simon is a photographer, his photography influence is Steven Klein. He doesnt have a link for his work yet but told me he helps out at Stamp films. His style is influenced by Swedish street style. He is wearing a shirt from I think he said Indigo (cant read my own  writing again).  T by Concrete, jeans by Cheap Monday and high tops from Converse.
