Out and about....West St

From Fashionistable

Tom is an English Lit student, his surprise though, was that he studies in Dublin and not London. He is a Londoner and says "there is no place like home". Which for Tom is Shepherds Bush. Tom says his style at the moment is influenced by cult leaders and train drivers. I really liked the little details on the pocket and near the hem of his shirt. He told me he did these himself. Nice touch. Tom's shirt was bought on eBay, trousers and shoes are Birch Loe (I think) and he bought his glasses in Greenwich market.

The cult leaders and train drivers bit made me laugh out loud :) It's working for him, though!

I didn't know English Lit students could also embroider. Love his train engineer inspired look!

I've missed so many lovely posts of yours, and really enjoyed the Port Eliot ones and that lady in the fabulous gown! I was taking a little break from photographing and documenting in favor of actually being part of the experience. It's difficult engaging in conversations or actually "being there" since "seeing" through a lens requires some sort of distance from the subject. And, my final excuse is watching too much of the Olympics!

I was glad to see the sun coming out in London from your photos (and judging from the Olympic volleyball uniforms)! -- J xxxx
