What do you do when your train is running late? Here you can see what I do, I scout the platform for stylish people. I am not always successful but today I was. Kay was deep in her book, 'The Piano Teacher' when I approached her. She told me her style was based on the freedom of ideas. Now that is a wonderful concept isn't it. Her surprise for us is that although she is a vegetarian she is allergic to corn. Here she is wearing a
Topshop play suit and bag,
H&M glasses, charity shop necklace, tights she bought in a market,
M&S socks and
Office boots.
Happy 4th of July to all my American readers. Hope you are having a wonderful day.

I try to scout out people at train stations also. I've only been successful twice, but both shots were early on, before I actually got any good at street style photography. I've been looking for someone special since. I kind of wish I had found Kay too! Lovely shot, and she has lovely style.
She looks like someone I might see waiting for a BART train here in SF. Must be the freedom of ideas philosophy about dressing, which is shared by a lot of Bay Area folks. Well spotted!
She looks very cool!

Love David's comment about ending up somewhere north of London in pursuit of a stylishly dressed individual!
Have to say that the location acts as a perfect backdrop to this confident freedom of style.
Oh yes, that's a wonderful concept to follow and she looks lovely! Btw, I really enjoyed your Ascot and Henley shots!xx
"Freedom of ideas". Oh, I like her already! Lucky for us you missed your train? And thanks for the 4th of July wishes. It was marvelous. Watched several cities' fireworks right from our window. -- J xxx
