Out and about....Fetter Lane

From Fashionistable
Jemima is originally form Perth and is an Interior Designer. She told me she didn't really have a style influence but always likes what Kate Moss and Alexa Chung wears. Her favourite place in London is the V&A and surprisingly she used to be a volunteer at a cat haven. Jemima is wearing a Zara jacket and shirt, vintage shorts, Sonia Rykiel shoes and is carrying a bag from Topshop.

Two years of Fashionistable. I am amazed the time has passed so quickly. It was very difficult to select images for this post. The 1st 4 have had the most page views. Alexa and Olivia to represent the well known people I met from the world of fashion weeks. My final red select, Kathryn is the 1st person I met who recognised the blog name. And my only guy because a friend mentions this shot a lot.
This 2nd year brought a few achievements starting a few days in by being shortlisted for the Vogue blogger competition, making the Most Wanted and Say 100 lists and being featured in 2 editorials.
Going to London and Paris fashion weeks were a visual treat. Cumulating with bumping into Emmanuelle Alt on my last day in Paris with no-one else around. Looking forward to September as I will be covering London, Milan and Paris this time.
And last but most importantly A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to all my wonderful followers (and those of you who just pop by) for supporting me. I really love and appreciate the encouragement you give me by being around and commenting. I feel really excited and happiness for the year ahead.
Love Dvora Xxxx

P.S. We have a long weekend here in the UK now so see you all on Tuesday. Have a great weekend.  Xxxx

Out and about....May's day

From Fashionistable
May was shopping with her brother when we met. She loves going to Brick Lane and Spitalfields market which is were we met. It was chilly but the sun was shining. A great excuse to wear lovely over the knee socks with shorts. How many more days will you get away with that before Spring? Aren't the ribbons in her shoes wonderful. May is a Londoner and is studying for her GCSE's. She told me she will go on to do her A'levels. She loves drama but is not sure of her direction yet. There is still time. I really feel for children and young people at the moment. They are being hit really hard. No child benefit. No new schools. Pay for ever for your university education. I am amazed they are not up in arms. I remember going on strike in school because they took too long to fix the heating and we had, had enough. Come on students time to hear your voices, where are you? OK that is my rally cry over. For style May looks to Alexa Chung who she see's as effortlessly cool. Also Vogue for inspiration. I agree on both counts. Can you believe it she used to play Rugby. I did Kung Fu for a short while but gave it up because it hurt too much. Wonder if she gave up Rugby for the same reason? Her shirt used to be her brothers, the sweater her mums. Some great wardrobe mixing here. Shorts and socks are Primark. Her shoes are from a stall on Portobello Rd and her bag was from Columbia Rd. Her story gives us a great tour of a lot of the wonderful markets in London.

Out and about....

From Fashionistable
Sara was born in Australia to an English mum and an Italian dad. She loves music but also loves her tattoos. When Sara was 9 she was attacked by a Kangaroo. I can imagine that would have been very frightening. They can be pretty big animals. Style wise she loves Alexa Chung. Like all good Australians Sara is well traveled.  Her traveling started at a very early age when her parents took her on an around the world trip when she was 1½. She just wishes she could remember it. Here she is wearing a cardy is from Urban Outfitters, dress from Topshop, socks from M&S, shoes from OZ and her bag is from Camden Market.

LFW September 2010 - Alexa Chung

From Fashionistable
Look how lucky I was. I was on my way to meet TNMA  and she told me she has just spotted her. So I hot footed it over. She was very sweet. She was having a break and said if I waited she would let me photograph her. So I did and she did. And here she is dear readers.
