Out and about....Royal Ascot

From Fashionistable

I was at Ladies Day at Ascot yesterday with Vogue. Even though it rained occasionally, it was still warm enough to go most of the day without a coat. It was cardy on and off. I had to buy a hat that meant I could still take pictures without taking it on and off all the time. It was a great day and was wonderful to see everyone in all their finery. Isn't it fun to get dressed up now and again. By the end of the day I was beginning to feel I was at a huge wedding. To see my shots from the day click here - there are 30 of them so you get a good flavour of how it looked, to me anyway.

  4. Ha! It must take a lot of self-confidence to wear breakfast on your head! The more serious hats are all gorgeous. Looks like a fun day in spite of the weather.

  8. So many stylish ladies...hats-off Dvora! I'm in love with that stunning Roksanda Ilincic dress and I think Nicole is sporting one of the best ensembles!

  9. Beautiful! The Royal Ascot is perhaps my favorite British event to view. I wish they wore more fancy hats here in the US. -- J xxxx
