Luisa finished Uni earlier this year where she studied advertising. She told me she would like to write children's books. Continuing the children's book theme when I asked Luisa her style influence she said "I like to dress like Poly Pocket." In the picture she is wearing a dress from a shop off Great Portland St, Urban Outfitters boots and carrying a bag from eBay. Her surprise for us is that she says she is really strong for a little person.
That's a lovely dress. Very creative - a childrens book writer.xxx

Oh wow, this says EVERYTHING about simplicity and attention to detail... The haircut, the dress, the shoes - everything is so unfussy, but when you look closer really beautiful and perfect. It's a strong look - I'm sure she's a strong person!

love the play on colour and those pleats.
ReplyDeleteLovely dress, very simple.
ReplyDeleteThe grey/taupe colour is lovely on her, Nice shot.
ReplyDeleteShe's the first adult I've heard of who points to Polly Pocket as an inspiration. That's really great! (Polly Pocket has an awesome wardrobe ;D) She must have strength of spirit if she wants to write children's books. Children face fear after fear while growing up yet keep an indomitable sense of adventure. Definitely strong! xxxx
ReplyDeletethat dress is pretty!!
