With Britain facing a hosepipe ban we could use a few more days like the one I took Olivia's picture on. How do other countries who have a lot less rain than we do cope I ask myself.... Olivia says that her usual style influence is military uniforms but today is Rock Chick. Her style icons are Daphne Guinness and Kate Moss. Here she is wearing a hat she found, a
Topshop shirt,
Hogan jacket,
Zara trousers,
Kurt Geiger shoes and vintage glasses.
Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Fantastic....I just love every single piece on her!
ReplyDeleteShe is looking pretty damn good in the rain which is quite an art! what is the weather like - we are on an underground spring and it was dire by last september - not a hosepipe in sight all last summer and whenever we walked the public resevoirs they looked worse and worse - we have had emergency water talks for a year now - now hmgv does that sound!! xx

Such a stylish girl under the rain! I particularly like the silky trousers as I'm a big fan of the current pyjamas trend. Whenever there is rain, I opt for my Hunter, but the fashion effect would be completely different...
ReplyDeleteInteresting combination of pieces. The pants surprised me as I scrolled down, but I like the overall look.
ReplyDeleteAbout your question, I took the Russell Sq. photo when I was there last June. Shows what the weather was like during my trip!
I often ask the same question re: water in other countries... We seem to have so much rain here that it can often feel like too much.
ReplyDeleteI really admire girls who can look this cool and chic in the rain - I am such a creature of comforts and wraps... preferably with the indoor-based environment. :D

that is one cool outfit. love the pose too.
ReplyDeleteshe's looking fabulous even in the rain! lovin' the rocker urban vibe. I don't think many people can pull off those types of trousers...so she be pulling those off no problem!

I have a fedora similar to this in purple that I bought at Zara in Spain in October and it was my staple piece of winter headgear. I just felt so cool while I was wearing it! Seriously considering investing in a more spring/summer friendly coloured one. Love this shot - you really wouldn't want to mess with her, she gives off such a sense of power!
ReplyDeleteOoh might have to check out Zara for a pair of those pyjama pants.
ReplyDeleteI can see Guinness and Kate Moss in this ... It is pouring over here too! I haven't taken my camera outside at all for days with the driving rain. But it's good for the earth and we were experiencing drought for most of the winter. xxx
