Yousef is from Kuwait and is the fashion editor for the online magazine
Thouq. He was in London for 10 days, for inspiration and to find lots of different looks. He told me that from his perspective each of the big European cities have their own unique look and feel. Paris is black, Milan is colour and London is a combination of both and is also funky. His own style is either casual or extreme depending on his mood. It was a cold day, so casual was obviously winning. His surprise and I guess phobia too is rabbits - no rabbit fur for him then. His hat he bought in Paris but can't remember where from. Sweater is

I like this! I agree there is definitely a London Look and a Paris Look. Glad I am not imagining things again!!

ReplyDeleteLol. I love my oversized sweaters and pullovers these cold wintery days. And even love to combine it with a fedora hat like he does.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see some men's looks. It's incredible that cheap ready-to-wear can approximate the real thing so much: for a split second I thought the sweater could be by Missoni. I guess my opinion would be different in real life: the material probably does not look as good.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure about the tight jeans and heavy shoes or the silhouette in general: it approximates the Magnum ice cream too much - top-heavy, skinny bottom.
Definitely a great styling effort, though.
